Postcards from the Pacific

A couple weeks ago I put on this fabulous outfit and boarded Carnival Cruises’ Paradise ship with my fam to Ensenada. We all had a great time enjoying drinks, soaking in some sun and seeing the sights once we docked in Mexico. The area we visited was so gorgeous thought I’d share a few snapshots from the trip:

{Margaritas for everyone! Habana Banana, Ensenada, Mexico}

{The Pacific Coast along Ensenada}

{Checking out the wares in the open air market near La Bufadora}

{La Bufadora, named for the “buf” it makes when the water shoots out of the natural blow hole, according to our tour guide, Riggo.}

{One of many pool side drinks I enjoyed on the ship.}

My favorite find in Ensenada, were the churros I bought from a street vendor. I was so excited to eat them I forgot to take a picture!  As I walked through the open air market to La Bufadora there were vendors shoving hard-to-resist samples in my face. On the way back to the bus I just couldn’t bought myself a bag for $2. They were freshly made, warm, sweet and came packed in a small brown bag made of wax paper. I’m salivating just thinking of them. It’s my suggested must-try for anyone visiting the area.
