I grabbed a piece of chocolate from my sweet-tooth bowl at random, unwrapping the sweet morsel from the ruby-colored foil and began to nibble without noticing the imposed message. I’ve become immune to the messages included in each piece of Dove dark chocolate. I’m after the creamy smooth chocolate never-mind the corny words of wisdom. But for some reason this time I checked. And it was like this message was made for me. At the time I just didn’t know how it exactly applied to my life so I thought it would be a good bookmark for my summer reads.
At the risk of sounding a little fou-fou and this is my first time confessing this to anyone: But that little mantra was the extra push I needed to enter the Huffington Post contest, which as it turns out, took me half-way across the world to Vienna. It’s proof that our inner reality-checker slash stream-of-conscious, mine happens to runs a mile a minute, can use a break now and then. Sometimes advice can come from the most unexpected source.
